For my sweet sixteen, I wanted to go to Husk restaurant in downtown Charleston and meet Sean Brock, my inspiration. To my disappointment, I did not get to meet him because he was on vacation. If I was him, I’d want take a vacation too, being executive chef of two restaurants. However, while at Husk, I did enjoy his rather tasty catfish and buttermilk panna cotta with blackberries. I also decided I was feeling a little adventurous and tried some of my mom’s quail which was even better than my catfish! I can’t wait to go back to Husk.
